Calling all cyclists, rogainers, cycling rogainers and rogaining cyclists! It’s time for this year’s edition of the Velogaine, where rogaining and cycling get together for Australia’s premier cycle navigation event.

This year the ‘Velo’ will be run in the Mount Torrens area – only an hour from Adelaide – and will feature some of the best scenery in the Adelaide Hills. The event is suitable for riders of mountain, cyclocross, gravel and hybrid bikes and there is also a class for ebikes. The course mostly uses dirt and gravel roads with a few rougher tracks (though nothing too ‘technical’) and some bitumen as well. Navigation is on the easier side, but those aiming for the pointy end of results will find route choice a real challenge.

Are you up for it? Go hard or go to simply enjoy yourself in the great outdoors.

Full refunds will be given if the event has to be cancelled due to COVID, but we trust this won’t be necessary 🙂
